All items are FREE while supplies last! You do not have to donate to attend.
New or gently used craft supplies donations will be accepted starting Monday, September 15th-Friday, September 19th, during regular library hours at the Adult Services Desk. You can bring items during the event, but we encourage you to bring them early!
Please Note:
We will not accept old magazines/books, cut or torn paper, capless markers, or open bottles of paint or glue.
Please make sure nothing is sticky, smelly or wet.
Please make sure items are sorted and packaged for easy display and distribution.
Categories and examples of items we will accept:
MARK MAKING: inks, pencils, paints (unopened), brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers
FIBER: yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, knitting needles/crochet hooks, thread, ribbon, quilting tools
TOOLS: scissors, glue guns, craft knives, hole punches, easels, small pottery tools, rulers
SUBSTRATES: canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, scratch boards, sketchbooks, construction paper
EXPENDIBLES: glue (unopened), tape, butcher paper, sandpaper, cotton swabs, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, google eyes
CRAFTS: beads, jewelry findings, artificial flowers, foam, felt, scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink pads, washi tape, stickers
The Library is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Batavia Avenue (IL-31) and Wilson Street (the main east-west street through town).
