New or gently used supplies will be accepted Monday, September 15th-Friday, September 19th, during regular library hours at the Adult & Teen Services Desk.

You can bring items during the Swap event on Saturday, September 20, but we encourage you to bring them early! 


Please Note:  

We will not accept old magazines/books, cut or torn paper, capless markers, or open bottles of paint or glue. 
Please make sure nothing is sticky, smelly or wet. 
Please make sure items are sorted and packaged for easy display and distribution. 

Categories and examples of items we will accept: 

MARK MAKING: inks, pencils, paints (unopened), brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers 
 
FIBER: yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, knitting needles/crochet hooks, thread, ribbon, quilting tools  
 
TOOLS: scissors, glue guns, craft knives, hole punches, easels, small pottery tools, rulers 
 
SUBSTRATES: canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, scratch boards, sketchbooks, construction paper  
 
EXPENDIBLES: glue (unopened), tape, butcher paper, sandpaper, cotton swabs, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, google eyes 
 
CRAFTS: beads, jewelry findings, artificial flowers, foam, felt, scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink pads, washi tape, stickers
