Drop in between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to learn if you have unclaimed property held by the State of Illinois.

The state treasurer is holding more than $3.5 billion in unclaimed funds for Illinoisans.  The state holds these lost funds until they are claimed by either the original owner or their heirs.  A representative of the State Treasurer's Office will be at the Library to look for your name in the database.  Property is returned at no cost with the proper identification.
